Thanks to increased rescue efforts, and a new alliance with no-kill adoption agencies statewide, we are saving even more of these wonderful creatures. Some form of help is sometimes desperatly needed for these animals. Could be with a medical problem, or they may be in immediate need of a foster home due to injury, illness, or a safe place to have their babies. Each story includes photo's of the cat, and the date their story was posted. We try to update as soon as changes happen.

These cats are ready to go home today- Being part of our "Angel" program gives them a few extra benifits. They are already spayed or neutered, and vaccinated, and have recieved the feline leukemia vaccine as well. Adoption fee of $65 covers all that PLUS free microchipping, registration, and 30 day pet insurance. The money is then returned to the program to spay another cat from our general population when someone here gets a home. These cat's are residents of our Spay Angel Program, and live in our temporary "dorm" in the front of the shelter. Would you like to sponser a spay today? 2/01-UPDATE! We now treat cat's entering this room with Acarax, an ear mite medication, to keep our population healthy and mite free! 2/25-UPDATE! We also vaccinate for Feline Leukemia as well for cats coming into this room.

Some special pets need special attention. These animals will require people with big hearts, to love them, and accept them as imperfect, but then again, we all are!
